Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Coln Mill is a beautifully restored 19th-century flour mill undergoing a carefully phased restoration.

We are delighted to announce that the first stage of the project is now complete, and guests can now stay in our two refurbished miller’s cottages, Egret and Moorhen. Set alongside the mill and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Coln Valley, these characterful holiday cottages offer a peaceful retreat in a unique historic setting.

Work continues on the restoration of the mill itself, which will soon open as a working heritage flour mill producing a select range of artisan bread flours. Powered by an undershot waterwheel and traditional French burr stones, Coln Mill will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the historic craft of flour milling while celebrating the area’s rich industrial heritage.
